Hi everyone!
You’ve been doing a fantastic job so far! Today, we’re going to learn about another essential Korean pronunciation rule called Liaison or 연음화 (yeon-eum-hwa). This rule will help you read Korean more naturally and sound more like a native speaker.
⸻

🔍 What is Liaison?
Liaison is when the final consonant (받침) of a syllable moves to the next syllable when the next syllable starts with a vowel.
This makes the word flow smoothly when spoken.
⸻
🧠 When does Liaison happen?
It happens when:
• The first syllable ends with a final consonant (받침).
• The next syllable begins with a vowel (no initial consonant).
Then the final consonant “moves” to the beginning of the next syllable when spoken.
